The municipal impound lot in Case Study #1 announced in 2025 that half of the surface lot was going to be repurposed into a modular temporary jail, reducing the available space from around 1500 to around 1050. I worked with the client to determine a feasible schedule that would allow for two monthly impound auctions instead of one, while also doing a monthly personal property auction. I used Google Gemini AI to ideate and compose the official communication to the seller.
I identified six operational issues affecting the implementation of the new schedule, and requested four specific actions from the seller to resolve those issues. We successfully implemented the new schedule thirty days later and communicated to change to hundreds of bidders. We worked with the impound lot staff and the receiving bank to accommodate the additional viewing and payment days.
Over the next several months, we continued to monitor bottlenecks and communicate with the client and seller to ensure a smooth operation.
